"Michele, can you create an Internet site for my Diving Center?" - my friend Gaddo asked me one evening.

We were sitting on the veranda of the villa, at the top of the cliff with two cold beers and the sea in front of us.

"OK, let’s create this site" - I said.

Well - I thought - it shouldn't be that difficult to describe a diving center: of course the sea is beautiful, there is enough gear available to dive the Titanic, instructors have more experience in diving than a Top Gun pilot in flying, lobsters are extremely friendly and so on…

The sun was setting behind Capo Caccia and for a while I didn’t think about anything...

When I started to work on the site I was not able to leave behind the sensations of that night on the sea.

It’s true, the diving center at Capo Galera is perfectly equipped but also has something special, nearly magical: it’s located on a promontory in the centre of the gulf. A white villa, surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation at the edge of a cliff overlooking the sea.

I would like to tell you about the magic of those warm summer nights in the middle of the sea. 

At Capo Galera one feels far from everything - even though the city is only 15 minutes away by car; the boat rocks below in the little cove, the divers gathered around the fire sharing stories about the sea.
