We are in Sardinia, in its north-western tip and exactly in Alghero:

a thousand years ago there was only a fishing village and the area represented one of the best anchoring places on the whole island. But as soon as you cross the city walls and enter its narrow stone streets, you cannot help but notice the presence of many shops and jewelers in whose shop windows the dominant color is red, that of Corallium rubrum. the real coral, which has made Alghero and its entire coastal strip known to the world as the Riviera del Corallo. The seabed of the area is very rich, so much that to see small branches it is enough to go down even to a depth of only 10 meters, where under the vaults of the numerous underwater caves in the area, there are dense colonies of that precious animal that very often comes confused with a plant.

To go diving in the area of Capo Caccia and Punta Giglio, the best solution is to take advantage of the double convenience offered by Capo Galera Diving Center, where Gaddo Risso owns, on the tip of the same name, a wonderful panoramic villa. An adequate diving center has been created from the villa, and mini apartments and rooms with kitchen can also be rented here. This offers the advantage of getting up in the morning, having a nice breakfast in front of one of the most beautiful views of Sardinia, and then getting directly on Patrizia, the diving boat ...
