Diver Chills In Cave Alghero, Sardinia, Italy
This was a magnificent underwater photograph taken by Dr. Alexander Mustard while diving in Sardinia with Capo Galera Diving Center. In his own words:
My aim with this image was to make a fun cave diving image. Normally, when you see photos of proper cave divers it always looks intimidating: divers with twin-sets, sidemounts, hard hats and other hyphenated paraphernalia. I wanted to show a diver relaxed and enjoy being in a cave. The lightning setup was planned before the dive, but the pose was something the model, Laura, was doing for fun between the shots. In the pitch black of the cave it was hard to explain to her to keep in this pose for the actual shot!
